We're seeking a analytical and technically-minded professional to own our marketing data infrastructure and provide actionable insights that drive growth and optimization across all marketing channels.

Position Overview

The Data Analyst, Growth will be responsible for building and maintaining our marketing analytics infrastructure, providing performance insights, and ensuring accurate attribution across all marketing channels. This role is critical for enabling data-driven decision making and optimizing our marketing investments for maximum efficiency and growth.

Key Responsibilities

Analytics Infrastructure & Implementation

  • Build and maintain comprehensive marketing analytics infrastructure using GA4, GTM, Triple Whale, Looker, and other analytics tools
  • Implement and manage tracking for all marketing channels including paid social, search, email, influencer campaigns, and offline marketing efforts
  • Develop and maintain attribution models to understand the complete customer journey, including top-of-funnel and offline touchpoints
  • Implement and manage Marketing Mix Models (MMMs) to optimize budget allocation across channels
  • Integrate marketing data with business intelligence systems and data warehouses
  • Ensure data accuracy and troubleshoot tracking discrepancies across platforms

Performance Analysis & Reporting

  • Create comprehensive dashboards and reports for marketing performance across all channels
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis on campaign performance, customer acquisition, and lifetime value
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize marketing spend and performance
  • Monitor funnel performance and identify opportunities for conversion rate optimization
  • Develop forecasting models and budget allocation recommendations

Marketing Technology Management

  • Manage and optimize marketing technology stack including Elevar, Triple Whale, Klaviyo, and other third-party tools
  • Implement and maintain Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA) solutions for accurate channel attribution
  • Implement and manage Marketing Mix Models (MMMs) to understand incrementality and optimize media spend
  • Coordinate with IT and development teams on technical implementations and integrations
  • Evaluate and recommend new analytics tools and technologies to improve measurement capabilities
  • Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and data governance best practices

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with paid media teams to ensure proper campaign tracking and optimization insights
  • Work with the VP of DTC to develop KPIs and measurement frameworks
  • Collaborate with finance teams on marketing ROI analysis and budget planning
  • Support other marketing teams with data requests and analysis projects
  • Provide training and support on analytics tools and data interpretation

Requirements

Required Experience

  • 4-6 years of experience in marketing analytics, preferably for DTC or e-commerce brands
  • Expert knowledge of GA4, Google Tag Manager, and digital marketing attribution
  • Experience with Triple Whale and Looker for data analysis and visualization
  • Experience implementing and managing Marketing Mix Models (MMMs) for media optimization
  • Experience with marketing technology platforms including Elevar, Klaviyo, and similar tools
  • Proven experience building dashboards and reporting systems for marketing teams
  • Experience tracking top-of-funnel and offline marketing efforts and their impact on performance
  • Knowledge of SQL, data warehousing, and business intelligence tools

Technical Skills

  • Expert proficiency with GA4, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager
  • Advanced experience with Triple Whale for e-commerce analytics and attribution
  • Proficiency with Looker for data visualization and dashboard creation
  • Experience with Marketing Mix Models (MMMs) and incrementality testing
  • Experience with marketing attribution platforms and Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA) solutions
  • Knowledge of Shopify analytics and e-commerce tracking implementation
  • Proficiency with SQL, Excel/Google Sheets, and data visualization tools
  • Familiarity with Python or R for advanced analytics and automation
  • Understanding of privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and their impact on analytics
  • Experience tracking offline marketing channels and their integration with digital attribution
