Our client is actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join their distributed engineering team. This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to work from anywhere within India. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our client's cloud infrastructure, ensuring its scalability, reliability, and security. This role demands a deep understanding of cloud technologies, automation, and best practices in infrastructure as code.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment, testing, and monitoring of applications and infrastructure.
  • Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Optimize cloud resource utilization and cost management, ensuring efficient spending.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues, providing rapid response and root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of services.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices for cloud environments, including identity and access management, network security, and data protection.
  • Automate operational tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends, evaluating and recommending new tools and approaches.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide support for production incidents.
  • Document infrastructure designs, configurations, and operational procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or DevOps roles.
  • Proven expertise in designing, deploying, and managing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong proficiency in IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, particularly in a remote setting.
  • Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator) are a strong plus.
