Financial Analyst, GCC-Assurant

Financial Analyst supports operational and financial effectiveness by leveraging activity-based costing methodologies to analyze and improve business performance. This role is responsible for extracting and analyzing financial and operational data from various systems, with a focus on resource tracking and reporting.

This position will be in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad at our India location.

  • Experience : Experience working with BI Tools.

  • Soft skills & Technical skills : Leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Project management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities. Certification in PBI (PL-300: Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst) equivalent or higher. Extensive experience with Power BI, DAX Studio, SQL, tabular editor including report and dashboard creation, data modelling, and DAX. Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights. Data Modelling and DAX Calculations: Provide guidance on data modelling and Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) calculations. Familiarity with SQL, data warehousing, and other business intelligence tools. Proven leadership skills to guide and mentor junior team members.

  • Education : Engineering/B.Tech/M.Tech Degree

    Candidate should be able to:
    Work along with solution architect in RFI / RFP response solution design, customer presentations, demonstrations, POCs, etc. for growth.
    Provide best practices for data visualization and Tableau implementations.
    Partner with business information architects to understand the business use cases that support and fulfill business and data strategy.
    simplify complex situations and ideas and distill them into compelling and effective written and oral presentations.
    develop dashboards and data sources that meet and exceed customer requirements.
    understand and rapidly comprehend new areas, functional and technical, and apply detailed and critical thinking to customer solutions.
    Work as a member and lead teams to implement Tableau solutions for our customers.
    Candidate should have:
    Experience with Tableau Prep and/or Tableau Prep Conductor a plus.
    Experience with Tableau Server or Online preferred.
    Applied experience in Agile development processes (SCRUM)
    Ability to independently learn new technologies and data related
    Portfolio to demonstrate the work products highly preferred
    Strong understanding of SQL and basic understanding of programming languages; experience with SAQL, SOQL, Python, or R a plus.
    Ability to architect and scope complex projects.
    5+ years of experience in Tableau consulting role, working with Enterprise customers.
    7+ years full-time experience in BI.
    B.S. or equivalent degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or other relevant fields.
