Job purpose
The Analyst – CP Data Management will be responsible for accurately managing and maintaining Charter Party (CP) data across voyage, time, and COA contracts. The role ensures all contractual terms, laytime clauses, and operational conditions are correctly captured, validated, and integrated into company systems for effective voyage execution, risk mitigation, and claims management. This position provides critical support to chartering, operations, finance, and legal teams, ensuring smooth contract administration in the dry bulk shipping industry. This role essentially ensures contractual accuracy, risk mitigation, and smooth voyage execution by being the backbone of CP-related data flow.
Main tasks and responsibilities.
1. CP Documentation & Data Entry
•Review Charter Party agreements (voyage, time charter, COA) to extract key commercial, operational, and legal terms.
•Accurately input CP data into shipping systems (e.g., Veson IMOS, Q88, or in-house ERP).
•Ensure consistency between CP contracts, fixtures, and voyage instructions.
2. Data Validation & Compliance
•Verify accuracy of CP terms with fixture recap and broker confirmations.
•Highlight discrepancies, risks, or missing clauses to operations/chartering teams.

3. Laytime & Demurrage Support
