We are looking for a Staff Professional Services Consultant with Data Protection specialization to join our team. Reporting to the Director, Professional Services. You will be responsible for:
+ Building long-term, trusted partnerships by delivering tailored, future-proof data protection solutions and advocating for customer needs
+ Presenting solutions, rationale, and project progress effectively at all organizational levels while managing milestones and potential challenges
+ Collaborating across teams to refine products, create detailed documentation, and establish best practices for scalable solutions
+ Leveraging expertise in data protection technologies (DLP, CASB, APIs) to craft innovative, custom solutions, including demos and coding/scripting needs
+ Multitasking across multiple customers and projects, showcasing ownership, innovation, and adaptability in solving complex data protection challenges
**What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)**
+ Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience in Professional Services, Service Integration, or DevOps
+ Expertise in cloud/network security architecture, data loss prevention (DLP), CASB, SaaS security, and endpoint security solutions
+ Proficient in Unix/Linux and Windows systems, scripting/coding for complex tasks, and working with REST APIs
+ Strong background in L2-L4 networking, virtualization, cloud computing, and handling security products, malware, and ransomware

The opportunity
This is an exciting time to join the GDS Data Protection team as we scale up our program to match the expansion of the business. Your key responsibilities
The Supervising Associate within GDS Data Protection team will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the GDS Data Protection program, with a primary focus on Data Incident Response Management, leveraging knowledge and industry expertise to enhance processes, support monitoring and reporting requirements and developing learning materials.
You will be expected to support the Data Protection Lead in managing and participating on global projects and networks.
You will be required to consult and collaborate effectively with key internal and external DP stakeholders (, Services Lines (Business units), Functions (internal departments), EY Technology, multiple DP network member firm organizations (customers of GDS), industry vendors) to drive the design and implementation of solutions across the business and geographies.
