+ Understand the basics of data consolidation process through data mesh architecture and the concept of de-centralised socio-technical approach.
+ Influence, design, and document data governance policies, standards and procedures for R&D data

The Global Master Data Steward is responsible for maintaining the master databases for Materials, Customer, & Vendor . Ensure the requirements have the right information and release them when the process has been completed. Responsibilities:
•Responsible for the following Master Data domains in scope: Material, Customer & Vendor master.
•Support the business with completing and processing their business master data entry requests utilizing the World Wide Master Data Operations’ request processes, forms and systems. Confirm that data changes are submitted by the appropriate business requester and approved by the correct decision authorities.
•Provide backup operational support as required for the WW Master Data Operations. Processing master data requests and tasks when other members of the organization are not available.
•Responsible for master data incident management when data defects are detected. Take ownership for a master data incident and act as the primary level of escalation. Provide prompt recovery of the affected business functions while assuring that the focus on the incident resolution is not taken away by other activities. Facilitate incident communications as the central interface with all affected parties, support resources and stakeholders.
•Provide master data reports to business resources as requested.
•Ensure adherence to company data management policies and standards. Assist in data related audit activities as required.
•Lead the associated master data operations to achieve request cycle time and data quality goals.
•Maintain strong liaison with global Master Data Teams to ensure performance goals are met, work instructions are written, no unauthorized master data updates are made.
