Director, Data Strategy and Governance
**What you will do**
The Director of Data Strategy and Governance will operationalize Amgen's data governance vision across the enterprise to accelerate AI innovative solutions to better serve patients. Relevant work experience of minimum 12 to 14 years in a big 4 or technology/ consulting set up

Help incubate new finance analytic products by executing Pilot, Proof of Concept projects to establish capabilities and credibility with users and clients. This may entail working either as an independent SME or as part of a larger team

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced hands-on lead to join our team. Leadership and Collaboration: Lead and collaborate with various IT Centers of Excellence (COEs) teams to foster innovation and synergies with the IR analytics team and their platforms and solutions capabilities.

System and Architecture Expertise: Discrete Manufacturing SAP experience including experience in Master data, transactional data, finance, supply chain or engineering analysis, data conversions to drive architectural synergies and solutions recommendations.

Big Data Technologies: Demonstrate a relentless commitment to learning, implementing and eventually training other teams on novel big data solutions available within Ingersoll Rand.

Key Requirements

Education: A four-year Engineering degree, with MBA preferred.

Experience: Discrete Manufacturing experience; Experience in Master data, transactional data, sales, finance, supply chain or engineering analysis, and data conversions. SAP Functional expertise with at least two or more modules experiences in sales, procurement, planning, production, finance, supply chain or engineering.

Data Experience: Extensive experience in handling master and transactional data, having hands-on experience in data extraction, data mapping, data cleansing, data deduplication, data loading and data verification of multiple data objects with at least 3 successful end-to-end implementations.

Technical Skills: Strong understanding of information systems, data processes, and programming languages like SAP ABAP, SQL, principles of data engineering, etc. Exposure or willingness to quickly learn big data technologies and solutions like Snowflake. Hands-on integration and ETL tools experience is preferred.

Leadership: Demonstrated leadership drive and ambition with a focus on collaboration and fostering innovation across teams.

Change Management: Experience in change management, with a focus on big data and analytics enablement and training.
