Required Technical and Professional Experience
+ 7 + years of experience in database administration with strong hands-on expertise in both Oracle (12c/19c/21c) and SQL Server (2016/2019/2022).

- Experience (5+ yrs):
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator, with a focus on PostgreSQL databases.
- Experience managing databases within ERP systems is highly desirable.
- Experience with SSIS for ETL processes and SSRS for report development.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and BI methodologies.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL and PG SQL.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL architecture, performance tuning, and optimization techniques.
- Experience with database backup, recovery, security, and integrity.
- Familiarity with database design, documentation, and coding.
- Experience with DBA tools and utilities specific to PostgreSQL.
- Database Management:
- Install, configure, and upgrade PostgreSQL database servers and related applications.
- Design and implement database schemas tailored to ERP requirements.
- Monitor database performance and implement necessary changes to enhance efficiency.
- Expertise in working with popular DBMS platforms such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL(preferred), or MongoDB.
- Data Integration (SSIS):
- Develop and manage SSIS packages to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into the data warehouse.

• Prepares detailed reports, which might include system requirements such as concurrent usage factors, data storage requirements, response rates, and discuss procedures for processing data through the use of database management systems (DBMS), including relational databases.
• Applies knowledge and experience with database technologies, development methodologies, and front-end (e.g., COGNOS)/back-end programming languages (e.g., SQL).
• Projects long-range requirements for database administration and design in conjunction with other managers in the information systems function.
• Designs, creates, and maintains databases in a client/server environment.
• Conducts quality control and auditing of databases in a client/server environment to ensure the accurate and appropriate data use.
• Advises users on access to various client/server databases.
• Designs, implements, and maintains complex databases with respect to access methods, access time, device allocation, validation checks, organization, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods.
