Build and maintain ETL pipelines (primarily using SSIS; Oracle ETL exposure is a plus).
Implement and monitor database security, backup, recovery, and high availability (Always On Availability Groups, clustering).
Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, blocking/deadlocks, and optimize resource utilization.
Collaborate with application developers to design normalized and scalable data structures.
Support database upgrades, migrations, and integrations between SQL Server and Oracle.
Document standards, best practices, and database architecture across SQL Server and Oracle environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
6–7 years of total IT experience with 5–6 years in SQL Server database development.
Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server (2016/2019/2022).
Hands-on T-SQL development (stored procedures, triggers, functions, views).
Proven skills in performance tuning, indexing, and execution plan analysis.
Working knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL (procedures, packages, functions).
Hands-on experience with SSIS or equivalent ETL tools.
Strong knowledge of backup/recovery strategies, high availability, and disaster recovery.
Experience with database version control and CI/CD deployment practices.
