**What we'll need from you**
You are a talented cloud engineer with a proven track record of hands-on infrastructure automation development, a deep expertise in public cloud, and a passion for engineering best practices. You have:
**­Cloud Engineering Expertise:**
+ 8-12 years of relevant experience in an Engineering role
+ A deep understanding of public cloud services adoption at scale. Good understanding of AWS/GCP Cloud Network across:
+ Internet Application Hosting - Hands on experience on Network Segmentation, Security controls, Network Firewall and Packet Mirroring & Inspection and Content Delivery Networks.
+ B2B Connectivity - AWS & GCP Experience with Third party connectivity patterns, Cloud B2B Architectures and familiarity with VPN, AWS Privatelinks and Google Cloud Private Service Connect.
+ Application Resiliency - Experience engineering API platforms, AWS LBs, GCP Load balancers for enterprise grade applications with integration to Cloud DNS/Route 53 and certificate management.
**Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Hands On Expertise:** Demonstrable experience with the following:
Programming Languages: Python and Go.
CI/CD: Terrafrom, Harness, Tekton, Jenkins, etc.
Testing Automation: Terratest, Cucumber, PytestBD, AWS Fault Injection Simulator (FIS), Chaos Mesh, etc
­**Agile and DevOps Mindset** : Familiarity with Agile Development, DevOps, and SRE practices.
**Adaptability:** Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changing project requirements
**Strategic Thinking** : Experience evaluating complex requirements and rationalizing them into a consistent service offering.
**Excellent communication:** The ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
**Exceptional teamwork and collaboration:** with a proven ability to effectively contribute within a cross-functional team environment.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Contribute to the budgetary requirement definition for assigned product area, develop functional specifications, and create project plans and software release schedules
+ Partner with business and development teams to identify engineering requirements and assist in defining application and system requirements and processes and maintain engineering relationships with the end user/client
+ Ensure requirements/tasks from technology departments and/or end users are communicated to stakeholders
+ Provide solutions and processes in accordance with audit initiatives and requirements and consult with Business Information Security officers (BISOs) and TISOs
+ Exhibit in-depth understanding of engineering concepts and principles
+ Assist with training activities and mentor junior team members
+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
**Qualifications:**
+ Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment
+ Project Management experience
+ Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
+ Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practices
+ Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills
+ Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams
