Job Description
As a Delivery Lead , you will be responsible for managing the delivery of large and complex projects. You will leverage your expertise in Lean Portfolio Management to ensure projects meet scope, timelines, and quality standards, while maintaining a focus on profitability. By collaborating closely with sponsors and multiple teams, you will mitigate risks, drive service quality, and lead delivery excellence to ensure ongoing success.
Roles & Responsibilities:- Subject Matter Expert (SME): Be recognized as a subject matter expert with deep knowledge and experience in project delivery and management.
- Influencing & Advisory: Provide expert guidance and advisory services to stakeholders, influencing key decisions across teams and business areas.
- Team Collaboration & Decision Making: Engage with multiple teams, providing leadership and ensuring alignment on project goals. Be responsible for team decisions and actions.
- Problem Solving Across Teams: Provide solutions to problems that impact multiple teams and business areas, ensuring smooth project execution and successful outcomes.
- Project Delivery Oversight: Lead the delivery of large, complex projects, ensuring they are completed successfully, on time, and within scope.
- Scope & Risk Management: Collaborate with project sponsors to manage and define project scope, and proactively mitigate risks to ensure project success.
- Profitability & Service Quality: Drive profitability by managing service quality, costs, and resources effectively, ensuring optimal outcomes for both the client and the organization.
- Progress Reporting: Measure, track, and communicate project progress and milestones to leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment with business goals.
- Sales Support: Support sales teams by providing innovative solutions and demonstrating delivery excellence, contributing to the growth and success of the business.
- Must-Have Skills:
- Proficiency in Lean Portfolio Management , including managing multiple projects, portfolios, and aligning business strategies.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks, including Waterfall and Agile approaches.
- Good-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Agile Project Management techniques, including Scrum or Kanban.
- Experience in budget management and resource allocation for large-scale projects.
- Leadership & Communication:
- Excellent leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and drive project success.
- Strong communication skills to effectively report progress, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Risk Management:
- Ability to analyze, identify, and mitigate project risks effectively, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Project Cost & Resource Management:
- Proficient in managing project budgets and resources, ensuring cost-effective solutions that drive profitability.
- Proven experience in managing and delivering large, complex projects using appropriate frameworks and methodologies.
- Demonstrated expertise in Lean Portfolio Management and working with multiple teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Strong track record in managing project scope, risks , and ensuring service quality and cost management to drive profitability.
