- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and potential risk exposures.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate risk metrics and model performance to stakeholders across the organization.
- Stay current with regulatory requirements (e.g., Basel III/IV, IFRS 9) and industry best practices in quantitative finance and risk management.
- Collaborate with business lines, IT, and audit to ensure model compliance and effective implementation.
- Research and evaluate new modeling techniques and technologies.
- Provide technical expertise and support to junior analysts and cross-functional teams.
- Document model methodologies, assumptions, and limitations thoroughly.
- Contribute to the enhancement of the firm's overall risk management framework.
- Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Financial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in quantitative analysis, model development, or risk management within the banking or financial services industry.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, C++, SQL.
- Strong knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning techniques, and financial mathematics.
- Experience with risk management frameworks and regulatory capital calculations is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex quantitative concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote setting.
- Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms is a plus.
