Duties and Responsibilities
· Developing and building a lead generation plan, meeting and/or exceeding monthly/quarterly/ annual targets.
· Travel up-to 50% is needed to meet key persons, HOD, Principal & respective faculties from institutes from the region to develop funnel, delivering presentations, negotiation meetings and follow-ups and win the opportunities.
· Identifying decision makers amongst the inbound/outbound leads in order to start sales process.
· Maintaining current client relationships and identifying potential clients.
· Maintaining and expanding the database of prospects from higher education of the organization.
· Supporting the reseller communication channel in the region throughout the sales interval.
· Attending sales group meetings concerning sales targets/forecasts, reporting on market situation.
· Coordinating with client, operation team, finance team & technical team for status on orders from related departments in ensuring the delivery commitment to clients is met.
· Preparing tender documents and filing tenders for product line assigned working closely with sales coordinator.
· Capturing of accurate and complete information in Deal Registration Portal and/or Sales force.
· Creating and updating proposal templates and proposal material in a timely manner.
· This role involves Business Development, interaction with clients, communication with internal team, delivering presentations to key accounts / strategic leads and providing accurate forecast to leadership team.
· Propose region wise sales plans and targets in alignment with business objectives.
Desired Skills
Minimum of 5+ years relevant in higher education segment.
· Must have experience in selling IITs, NITs, Engineering Colleges, govt training institutes.
· Preferably experience in selling products like MATLAB, LabVIEW, CAD & CAE Tools or equivalent
· Effective in communication and organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude.
· In-depth knowledge of market techniques and best practices.
· Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
· Proven sales experience in a related product or service line by meeting the business goals.

Education
