    Profile

    Strategic Testing Framework:

  • Co-building a comprehensive product testing strategy aligned with the Product Conception Strategy.
  • Integration of testing protocols into the overall product excellence framework
  • Testing Operations Management:

  • Directing and conducting lab, field, and user tests.
  • Effective load planning and deadline adherence through meticulous back-planning.
  • Validation of test feasibility, commitment to costs, and completion times.
  • Stakeholder Leadership:

  • Functional leadership of stakeholders in the testing process.
  • Coordination of field tests with the creation and provision of testing methods.
  • Field Testing Expertise:

  • Execution of various field tests, including function tests, sensory perception vs. mechanical features (CUT), and product benefit (AP) characterisation.
  • Creation and management of tester communities for diverse testing needs.
  • Result Assurance:

  • Guaranteeing relevance, reliability, and objectivity of results.
  • Development of standardised testing protocols and tools.
  • Ensuring the reliability of data collected during tests and communicating the level of result reliability.
  • Data Analysis and Communication:

  • Developing and analyzing test protocols using relevant statistical methods.
  • Capitalizing on and communicating results, methods, tools, and organizational aspects.
  • Standardizing Decathlon validation tools and methods.
  • Human and Technical Skills:

  • Cross-functional collaboration with users, labs, the Decathlon network, and internal brand teams.
  • Leveraging specific sport knowledge and network building for testers.
  • Project management, prioritization, and adaptability.
  • In essence, I ensure the seamless integration of product testing into the overall product development process, guaranteeing the highest standards of quality, reliability, and user satisfaction in the realm of local developments. 

    An ideal educational background would include,Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (mechanical)/ Degree in sport science or Human movement studies / Certification or courses in product testing, quality assurance or data analysis. Relevant experience in Quality/Product Development and Product Testing is an advantage

    Key Role Responsibilities:

     Implement approved departmental policies, processes, procedures and provide instructions to subordinates and monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.
    Ensure employees are aware and follow the information Security Rules and data security measures to protect the company information / intellectual properties.
