About the Role:
We are looking for a creative and passionate Graphic Design Faculty who can inspire students through hands-on learning and real-world design projects. The ideal candidate should have strong design skills, practical industry experience, and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching and guiding young creatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching and Mentorship
Conduct interactive classes, workshops, and studio sessions in graphic design fundamentals and tools.
Guide and support students in design projects, portfolios, and creative competitions.
Review student assignments and provide constructive, practical feedback.
Encourage creativity, experimentation, and problem-solving in every session.
Curriculum and Content Support
Assist senior faculty in refining and updating course content to align with current design trends.
Incorporate real-world design practices, case studies, and software tools into classroom sessions.
Help develop project-based learning activities and cross-disciplinary projects.
Academic and Professional Contribution
Stay informed about new design tools, creative trends, and technologies.
Participate in team meetings, design reviews, and skill-up sessions.
Contribute to exhibitions, guest lectures, design fests, and student showcases.
Industry Interaction
Coordinate with industry professionals for occasional workshops or talks.
Motivate students to pursue internships, freelance projects, and creative opportunities related to graphic design.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Candidate should meet any one of the following:
Bachelors/Masters in Graphic Design/Animation/Visual Communication/UI/UX/Product Design
Or
Graduation in any field with minimum 1 year additional qualification/certification/diploma in
Graphic Design/Animation/Visual Communication/UI/UX/Product Design
Or
Graduation in any field with minimum 1 year work experience/self employment in
Graphic Design/Animation/Visual Communication/UI/UX/Product Design
Experience:
0–3 years of professional experience in graphic design, branding, or creative studios.
(Fresh BVA graduates with strong portfolios are encouraged to apply.)
0–2 years of teaching or training experience in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related fields (preferred but not mandatory).
Candidates with a strong design portfolio and solid software proficiency (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) are encouraged to apply, even if they are new to teaching.
Skills and Competencies:
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, After Effects) 2D and 3D Animation and other relevant tools.
Strong conceptual thinking and design execution skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, mentoring and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and mentor students to reach their creative potential.
