- Responsible for the engineering and technical authority of the reciprocating compressor product line.
- Support the legacy Clark, Worthington and Ingersoll Rand reciprocating compressor product lines with respect to engineering support and product design
- Check drawings/documents for accuracy and compliance with standard drafting/engineering practices and procedures.
- Perform calculations and select materials for components to ensure mechanical integrity and performance requirements meet client expectations.
- Responsible to update product designs to current engineering, manufacturing and assembly standards to optimize cost and lead time.
- Reviews orders and quotations to verify compliance from a technical, safety and regulatory viewpoint and ensures all requirements are met.
- Drive and participate in standardization program for cost reduction and product simplification to ensure engineering is of the highest quality, and at minimum cost.
- Ensure that standards of quality, cost, safety, reliability, timeliness and performance are met in for client contracts
- Engage in research and development activities to improve the organization's products and services
- Provide Technical support to FSR / Customer / Sales / Operations for components
- Customer complaint and field issue resolution through problem solving technic and Warranty claim analysis and evaluation
- Provide technical support to manufacturing, supply chain, suppliers and customer technical support department
- Representing Siemens Energy in front of customers and conferences.

What You Bring
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering with at least 5 years of engineering experience in Reciprocating Compressor design. Experience in the execution of Mods & Ups projects and/or parts orders preferred
- Sophisticated knowledge of reciprocating gas compressors
- Must possess a high level of problem-solving skills; strong verbal and written communication skills; organizational and prioritizing skills; ability to work in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, Outlook), Globus, SAP and CAD programs and software including AutoCAD / NX
- Knowledge of P&ID , GA , Compressor Datasheet and Package
- Knowledge of Compressor package and utilities including LOC , CWC
- Should have knowledge of operation philosophy , controls , and basics of instrumentation.
- Willing to travel up to 15% of the time (Both Domestic and Internationally)

- The Packaging / System Engineer – holds Engineering knowledge and experience in the application and execution of process and mechanical systems used in Reciprocating Compressors, Integrally Geared Centrifugal Compressor for Industrial Applications. As a rotating equipment projects lead, he will collaborate with an interdisciplinary engineering team from sales handover to project completion, installation, testing, and warranty phases. The Packaging engineer possesses good analytical abilities, detailed problem-solving skills, and should be hard-working to overcome all obstacles, whether internal or external.
- Handle the mechanical systems technical scope for rotating equipment packages.
- Develop process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) applying COMOS for process gas, utility, and driver (Engine, Turbine, Electric Motor) systems.
- Develop and coordinate technical information from systems for consolidation into overall project documentation – utilities, cable lists, instrument setpoints etc.
- Conduct engineering calculations for the sizing and selection of systems components, such as heat exchangers, Scrubbers (KOD), control valves, safety valves, filters, accumulators, tanks, and pumps.
- Author technical specifications for purchase of auxiliary equipment and system modules.
- Own the internal layout and routings of systems for safety, maintainability, and operability.

Purpose & Scope of Position
Engineering Manager (EM) is responsible for engineering and design matters on the project and assists the project manager. An EM will fill 3 main roles during the execution of a project. These are Manager, Technical Leader and Communicator. The EM on a project is responsible for scope definition and manages the planning, resourcing and scheduling all the engineering related activities.
