Role Summary
To contribute to the growing utilities infrastructure design team delivering water sector assets including pumping stations, networks (gravity and pumped), storage reservoirs, and treatment works (potable water and/or wastewater) for various UK projects including residential, industrial, commercial, transport, water, retail, health and education projects.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of WSP’s GCC UK Water team in Bengaluru.
- Lead design management for mid-scale and complex projects , managing resources, timelines, and budgets from concept through to completion.
- Ensure projects comply with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Manage client relationships and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver effective, integrated solutions.
- Lead client and project meetings, reporting on progress, financials, and addressing technical challenges.
- Drive "Safety by Design" practices and ensure compliance with UK CDM (Construction Design & Management) Regulations.
- Ensuring clear communication through collaborating effectively with both internal WSP teams and external stakeholders to support the delivery of projects.
- Being a civil lead of major Infra and Non-Infra projects.

- Experience working on planning and design of water and wastewater treatment plants projects is a plus.
- Clear understanding of water and wastewater infrastructure design concepts, treatment process and related hydraulics.
- Candidate should have clear and demonstrable technical understanding of standards and norms specific to UK Water Industry.
- Strong experience reviewing design drawings developed by CAD/BIM Technicians on software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit and Plant 3D.
