The team works with a variety of vendors to provide great service, delicious food and innovative food experiences. As a Design Project Manager for Food Spaces you work as part of a regional food design team to develop design solutions that meet the client brief and create great spaces for the employees. The design, layout and experience of eating should promote healthy habits and social serendipity. Our food venues need to support the healthiest, happiest workforce and you will help to ensure everything gets done by the right people at the right time to bring these venues to life.
Responsibilities:
● Develop project briefs that are scoped sufficiently to the building dynamics to accommodate the food programme requirements, making sure design partners are fully briefed to the food space requirements.
● Support on development and design of food spaces in India; make sure all team members are engaged in each appropriate project phase; maintain and distribute necessary documentation to keep project phasing on track.
● Support the management of the different work streams which need to simultaneously occur in order to bring the food venues to life. These work streams include, but are not limited to, space planning, concept development, design development, project turnover, change and opening processes.

● Manage final sign-off for all milestone project phases from block planning to project completion including schematic design, and design development, as well as mid and final review of all finishes and FF&E items are met to maintain schedule.
● Be able to travel within the country and go on construction sites / walk through food spaces at the end of construction/fit out to understand & identify any potential issues or snags.
● Project snagging during construction and timely follow up to ensure successful handover.
● Support the diligence of new projects.
● Value engineering solutions that drive efficiencies in cost, operations and time.
● Contribute to capital planning for the region and seek approval from the Design partner.
Minimum qualifications:
● BA/BS degree in Project Management or Design (Architecture/Interior). In lieu of degree, 3-5 years relevant work experience.
● Minimum of 7 years of professional project management work with a focus on Food & Beverage spaces.
● Experience within food service or retail operations and flow either through direct experience or professional design work.
Preferred skills:
● Skilled in the visual, written and verbal communication of design issues with capability to think outside the box and bring creative, non-standard, and innovative solutions to the table.
