Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with M.E./M.Tech in Environmental Engineering

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to lead hydraulic design initiatives within our Water & Infrastructure business unit. The role demands a deep understanding of design principles, project management, and client coordination for large-scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

Desired Skills & Knowledge:

• Proficiency in hydraulic modeling and design software such as WaterGEMS and EPANET.
• Familiarity with Indian Standard Codes and manuals for water, wastewater, and drainage projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven track record of handling multi-disciplinary engineering teams.

JOB PURPOSE

- Design the products - Dampers, Shock Absorbers, Seating system assemblies.

- Support the other departments in design related technical matters.

- Administration of Design and Prototype team.

- Support manufacturing team in stabilizing the product in mass production.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Study of customer inputs, conduct product design feasibility.

Work with design engineers on necessary design calculations, past data analysis, work with suppliers and manufacturing team for deciding on design concept.

Conduct benchmarking

Check and release 3D and 2D prepared by design engineers - costing, prototyping, development and production stages.

Conduct design reviews at appropriate stages, DFMEA, DFA, DFM,

Study and define product validation - DVP.

Working out VAVE.

Running and tracking Engineering Change as per defined process.

Administer the prototype team for day-to-day work, short term and long term activities, manpower and other resources.

Technical documentation for TS system, IMDS, Duroshox manual and other relevant - get those from engineers and cross check for accuracy.

Administration of the design team.

Periodic preparation of performance data for management reports.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

Good at basics of mechanical engineering.

Should have knowledge about basic manufacturing processes.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

B.E. (Mech / Automobiles), 08 to 15 years relevant experience.

Develop and execute pre-silicon verification test plans for DFT features of the chip. Develop directed and random verification tests to validate the functionality.

• Verify DFT design blocks and subsystems (such as MBIST, high speed IO PHY, fuse, clocks, reset) using complex SV or C++ verification environments. Construct SystemVerilog and/or C/C++ models and test sequence libraries for simulation.

• Build test bench components including agents, monitors, scoreboards for DUT. Compose tests, assertions, checkers, validation vectors and coverage bins to ensure verification completeness.

• Debug regression test failures to expose specification and implementation issues. Identify and address areas of concern to meet design quality objectives.

• Develop high coverage and cost effective test patterns, and take part in ATE bring-up.

• Post silicon ATE and System level debug support of the test patterns delivered. Optimize the test patterns to improve the test quality and reduce test costs.

What is the experience and knowledge you should have?

• 3 to 6 year experience in DFT feature verification (such as JTAG, MBIST, SCAN, fuse, IO-PHY loopback testing)

• Strong background in Verilog, SystemVerilog (SV), SVA, UVM verification methodologies and C++

• Strong debug skills and experience with debug tools such as Verdi.

• Experience with EDA simulation tools like Synopsys VCS, Cadence NCSIM, Verdi

• Experience with scripting languages like Tcl/Perl/Ruby/Python

• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux OS, file version control.

Additional skills:

• Experience in ATE debug, Synthesis, formal/LEC, or power analysis will be a plus.

• Strong analytical/problem solving skills and pronounced attention to details

• Knowledge of STA Constraints for various DFT modes.

• Excellent written and verbal communication

What educational background should have?

• Minimum Engineering Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Science.
