Overview:
As a DevOps Architect, you will be a key member of the Engineering SRE platform team. You will be responsible for defining and executing the DevOps/DevSecOps strategy, managing cloud infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, and leading a high-performing global team of DevOps and Systems Engineers.
This is a hybrid role based out of our Pune office
What You'll Do:
- Own the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable DevOps/DevSecOps pipelines for production, development, and test environments
- Design and Architect Kubernetes environment with guardrails for DevOps/DevSecOps Engineers, providing technical direction and mentorship
- Manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Argo CD, Keda, and Velero for backup and disaster recovery for External Apps
- Architect, manage and maintain infrastructure on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure VMs, ensuring optimal cost-performance balance
- Provision, configure, and support components of the web application stack:
- Linux, Apache, SQL Server, PHP, Solr, Elasticsearch, Redis, and Auth 0
- Secure infrastructure through regular patching, updates, and compliance measures
- Implement robust monitoring and alerting using Datadog for infrastructure and applications
- Provide production support and lead incident response, root cause analysis, and resolution
- Collaborate with engineering leaders to shape and execute broader engineering strategies
What You Have:
- 12+ years in a Senior DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering role.
- 5+ years of experience managing Kubernetes clusters, driving DevOps Strategy
- Hands-on experience with tools such as:
- Terraform, Ansible (Infrastructure as Code)
- Azure DevOps Pipelines, Argo CD
- Keda, Velero
- Strong knowledge of:
- Linux (CentOS), Apache, Nginx, and PHP configs/modules
- Databases and messaging systems (SQL Server, Redis, RabbitMQ, and Couchbase)
- Search platforms (Solr, Elasticsearch clusters)
- Familiarity with Git version control and Artifactory
Preferred To Have:
- Advanced expertise in Azure IaaS/PaaS services:
- Compute: VMs, ScaleSets
- Networking: VNets, Load Balancers, Firewalls, NSGs
- Storage: Blob Storage, Storage Accounts, Virtual Disks
- PaaS: WebApps, WebJobs, Service Bus, Event Grid
- Deep knowledge of Containerization and Orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, ASR)
