**What you will do**
The DevOps & Test Automation Lead manages Amgen's validated CI/CD tool-chain and automated quality framework for every Veeva Vault environment. Leading a global pod of DevOps engineers and test-automation specialists, you will design, operate, and continuously improve secure pipelines (Git Azure DevOps Vault CLI), build risk-based regression packs, and embed "shift-left" quality and compliance across all Vault releases. We are looking for a DevOps Automation Engineer for our browser development team, responsible
for ensuring the continuous delivery, quality, performance and reliability of our enterprise browser
platform. You will collaborate closely with our developers to automate build, test, deployment, and
update processes, driving continuous improvement and innovation in our development lifecycle.
Your Impact
- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, deployment, and update processes for our enterprise browser.
- Drive continuous improvement in our build, test, and deployment strategies, identifying bottlenecks and introducing innovative automation solutions to enhance efficiency, reliability and developer experience.
- Scale, optimize and maintain infrastructure supporting the browser development and deployment lifecycle
- Proactively monitor CI/CD system performance and troubleshoot issues, providing timely resolution to minimize disruptions and maintain smooth development workflows.
- Implement and enforce security best practices within our CI/CD workflows, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards and safeguarding our software supply chain
Your Experience
- 5+ Years of total experience. 3+ years of experience in a role focused on CI/CD, automation or DevOps engineering with a strong drive for problem-solving and ownership
- Test automation infrastructure development and maintenance
- Git LAB based CI
- Terraform based cloud infrastructure management in AWS (additional GCP experience would be plus)
- Proven expertise in designing, developing, and managing CI/CD pipelines for complex
- software products within continuous delivery and agile environments. Experience with
- GitLab CI is highly preferred
- Highly proficient in scripting, with a strong preference for Python
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts, particularly with AWS and/or GCP, and
- practical experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
- as they relate to CI/CD and automation workflows
- Advantageous: Experience with workflow automation platforms like n8n
