- Support the automation of infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform.
- Help ensure our data platform operates efficiently and remains online.
- Collaborate with senior team members to develop and deploy automated services and APIs.
- Gain experience with Unix/Linux and network fundamentals.
- Support deployment processes with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions.
- Work with Azure and its data platform and analytics components.
- Develop skills in automation and open-source tools.
What You'll Bring
- Understanding of IT operations and process re-engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in CloudOps, DevOps, or IT infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, cloud fundamentals and Azure DevOps (other cloud platforms is a plus).
- You're proficient with scripting languages (e.g. Python, YAML, git, bash, PowerShell etc.)
- You're proficient with CI/CD tools (e.g. Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions)
- Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-305, or DP-203) are recommended and will be considered a plus.
- Experience working in azure data platform projects
- Familiarity with software engineering best practices in coding, software design patterns, testing & debugging
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
- Interest in learning about data analytics and cloud operations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Good to have
- You have experience with testing & data quality (e.g. pytest, great expectations, etc.)
- You have experience of working in an Agile environment
- You have experience with data processing frameworks like Spark and Databricks environment as DevOps or DataOps.
