- Own the integrated growth strategy across SEO, PPC and Web for a portfolio of e‑commerce clients.
- Turn commercial goals into channel roadmaps, quarterly OKRs and test‑and‑learn plans.
- Define information architecture, CRO hypotheses, landing page briefs and content frameworks.
- Establish measurement plans, attribution approach and incrementality testing where applicable.
- Lead discovery, strategy presentations, QBRs and weekly/bi‑weekly work‑in‑progress calls.

- Own KPI frameworks (revenue/ROAS, CPA, MER, CVR, AOV, LTV, organic sessions/visibility, tech health).
- Direct analytics setup (GA4, GTM), product feed hygiene, conversion tracking and event taxonomy.
- Build concise, insight‑led reporting; translate data into decisions and next actions.
- Identify expansion opportunities (new channels, CRO, feed optimisation, internationalisation).
- Support proposals, pitches and forecasting for new business and upsell.
- 7+ years in digital performance roles spanning SEO, PPC and Web/CRO , with at least 3 years in a client‑facing strategy lead/lead consultant capacity for e‑commerce brands.
- Proven ownership of multi‑channel roadmaps delivering measurable revenue growth.
- Hands‑on credibility: comfortable reviewing SEO technical audits, building/QAing paid campaigns, and shaping web backlogs with developers.

Role OverviewWe’re hiring a Digital Strategy Lead to own cross‑channel strategy (SEO, PPC, Web) for e‑commerce clients, lead client conversations end‑to‑end, and set direction for our specialist teams. You’ll translate business goals into clear strategies and defend them with data; orchestrate delivery with the Delivery Manager; and ensure our work lands on time, to spec, and with measurable impact. This role suits an entrepreneurial self‑starter with faultless English communication, who can think strategically and operate hands‑on in a fast‑paced startup environment.
What You’ll DoStrategy & Direction- Own the integrated growth strategy across SEO, PPC and Web for a portfolio of e‑commerce clients.
- Turn commercial goals into channel roadmaps, quarterly OKRs and test‑and‑learn plans.
- Define information architecture, CRO hypotheses, landing page briefs and content frameworks.
- Establish measurement plans, attribution approach and incrementality testing where applicable.
- Lead discovery, strategy presentations, QBRs and weekly/bi‑weekly work‑in‑progress calls.
- Present and defend recommendations with clear narratives and evidence; manage objections.
- Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders; surface opportunities and risks early.
- Convert strategies into clear scopes, milestones and briefs; ensure Delivery Manager has what they need to plan sprints and resourcing.
- Set quality bars and acceptance criteria for deliverables (SEO audits, ad builds, landing pages, dev tickets, dashboards).
- Maintain a risk log; proactively unblock delivery and escalate where needed.
- Provide day‑to‑day strategic guidance to SEO, PPC and Web specialists; review and sign off key outputs.
- Coach teams on decision‑making, prioritisation and data storytelling; contribute to playbooks and templates.
- Foster a culture of accountability, speed and high craftsmanship.
- Own KPI frameworks (revenue/ROAS, CPA, MER, CVR, AOV, LTV, organic sessions/visibility, tech health).
- Direct analytics setup (GA4, GTM), product feed hygiene, conversion tracking and event taxonomy.
- Build concise, insight‑led reporting; translate data into decisions and next actions.
- Identify expansion opportunities (new channels, CRO, feed optimisation, internationalisation).
- Support proposals, pitches and forecasting for new business and upsell.
- 7+ years in digital performance roles spanning SEO, PPC and Web/CRO , with at least 3 years in a client‑facing strategy lead/lead consultant capacity for e‑commerce brands.
- Proven ownership of multi‑channel roadmaps delivering measurable revenue growth.
- Hands‑on credibility: comfortable reviewing SEO technical audits, building/QAing paid campaigns, and shaping web backlogs with developers.
- SEO: Technical audits (CWV, rendering, crawl/indexation, schema), content strategy, internal linking, international SEO.
- PPC/Paid Social: Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta, LinkedIn/TikTok (as relevant), feed management, audiences, creative testing, budgeting and pacing.
- Web/CRO: Shopify/WordPress familiarity, UX heuristics, experimentation, landing page briefs, basic HTML/CSS/JS literacy helpful.
- Analytics: GA4, GTM, Looker Studio; comfort with attribution concepts and testing.
- Faultless English written and spoken; concise storytelling and deck craft.
- Exceptionally organised; able to run multiple accounts across time zones without dropping balls.
- Startup mindset: ownership, bias to action, comfortable with ambiguity and context‑switching.
- Bengaluru (Bangalore) preferred. Remote within India considered.
- Willingness to align hours for regular overlap with UK (GMT/BST) and US (ET/PT) clients.
- Experience with international rollouts, multi‑store/multi‑language SEO.
- Familiarity with ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Wix, WooCommerce), product schema, and PMax best practices.
- Experience shaping QA standards and delivery playbooks in an agency.
- Public speaking or thought leadership (webinars, blogs, events).
