The KNMA is seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Director of Development to lead and grow the museum’s fundraising efforts. This leadership position is pivotal in advancing the museum’s mission by cultivating a strong culture of philanthropy and securing diverse streams of financial support.
Reporting to the Museum’s Chief Executive Officer , the Director of Development will oversee all aspects of fundraising, including the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of individual donors (annual, major, and principal gifts), corporate partnerships, foundation grants, and sponsorships. The role also includes guiding strategy for donor engagement and overseeing the museum’s marketing, communications, membership, and volunteer programs to strengthen external visibility and community involvement.
Key Job Responsibilities:
(A) Fundraising Framework Development:
(1) Develop, execute, and oversee a comprehensive fundraising strategy aimed at generating the revenue required to achieve the museum’s annual objectives, including both general operating support and long-term endowment growth.
