Director, Technology Risk Management
Overview
The ONE ("The Operations, Network, and Employee Digital Experience teams focus on the underpinning platforms that power our Network and the employees that serve it") Technology Operations Controls team is a group focused upon establishing both foundational and transformational risk management practice at Mastercard Technology. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, leading efforts in support of Technology partners with identifying control gaps, designing key control activities, monitoring such activities (via assessment and testing), and driving risk remediation with TeamONE platform and program owners.
This is an exciting opportunity to be in a leadership role taking part in solving complex problems and working with great Mastercard technology leaders in operations and platforms. This highly visible role will be focused upon leading both global and regional efforts and direct supervision of resources proactively identifying, monitoring, and managing technology risks to protect Mastercard Technology and our customers.
In this role you'll combine your technical, risk, control and leadership expertise with your keen eye for detail to assess, create, implement, and test robust control activities that fortify TeamONE against threats and potential issues. Role
- Leading both the assessments and testing of IT controls and processes to identify deficiencies, deviations and compliance gaps.
- Managing resources supporting local and global technology risk management and control efforts.
- Serving as a regional primary team point of contact for technology risk management and control efforts.
- Lead and perform IT and operational control walkthroughs to determine existing process controls and adherence to control framework supporting both assessment and testing activities.
- Leading efforts to support the development and updating of control and process documentation, and relevant standards.
- Partner with first- and second-line risk management teams for all risk related functions to ensure alignment on risk management methodology, practices, terminology, etc.
All About You
Technical Proficiency:
o Experience serving in a leadership function supporting both local and global technology risk and control efforts.
o Knowledge of IT general controls and related operations.
o Experience in Mainframe, Oracle, SQL, Unix/Linux, HP Nonstop and/or Windows environments.
o Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and threat landscape.
o Ability to both lead and assess technology controls, vulnerabilities, and potential risks.
o General understanding of technology infrastructure.
Risk Management Expertise:
o Leadership experience with developing, implementing, and delivering technology risk assessment and mitigation approaches.
o Demonstrated leadership abilities in managing and performing technology risk and control assessment and testing activities along with the resources who execute them.
o Leadership experience in developing and implementing technology risk management frameworks and strategies.
o Strong understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to technology risk management (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework).

About the role:
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Director-IT Infra to lead our IT Infrastructure and IT Security teams. The ideal candidate will drive the management and strategic oversight of on premises datacenter assets, end user systems and on-cloud SaaS / PaaS / IaaS services with a focus on Microsoft and Open-Source technologies, while leading initiatives to transition workloads from current on-premises to hybrid cloud ecosystem.
Leadership and Management:
Work closely with CTO to define a strategic direction for organization IT ecosystem and align them to business objectives; digital transformation initiatives and “Right-Fit” technology.
Formulate, strategize and implement IT and InfoSec policies aligning them to industry standards; best practices / guidelines and organization goals.
anaging vendor / service provider relationships and run periodic cost optimization through vendor / tool consolidation and timely AMC negotiations / renewals.
evelop and implement change management processes to ensure smooth transition and adoption of new technologies. Communicate changes to all stakeholders and provide necessary support during change.
ead the IT Infra team and IT InfoSec teams. Foster an innovation driven, collaborative, ever learning and high-performance team environment.
IT Infrastructure Management:
ead initiatives to migrate on-premises workloads to Microsoft Azure and integrate Open
Source tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Developing and executing strategies for the migration of data and applications to cloud-based infrastructure.
anage on-premises servers using Microsoft Windows Server and Linux Ubuntu running on virtualization platforms like VMware ESXi and Linux KVM. nsure the reliability, availability. performance, security and high uptime of all IT assets, including hardware like Dell servers; HPE servers; SAN Data Storages; WAN / LAN Devices; EPABX systems etc.
evelop and implement maintenance schedules using tools like Microsoft System Center. Setting up, managing and monitoring organization's datacenter operations.
versee network architecture, connectivity uptime, and network performance using Cisco routers, switches, and other communication devices.
etup IT Infrastructure Monitoring Tools to identify and resolve IT infrastructure problems before they can adversely affect critical business processes. Report to management team insight into the status of physical, virtual, and cloud systems and help ensure availability and performance.
Security and Compliance:
mplement and manage security measures, including Next-Generation Firewalls; IDS / IPS; VPNs; Next-Generation Endpoint Security; DLP; IRM / EDRM; Web Proxy etc.
onduct regular security assessments at server level and network level using tools like Nessus, Nmap etc. to assess security implementation and mitigate vulnerabilities.
nsure compliance with security policies and procedures using SIEM solutions like Splunk and ensure zero data theft and data leakage.
onitor and respond to security incidents with solutions like Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Open-Source tools such as Wazuh, OSSEC etc.
nsure compliance with industry regulations and standards, maintaining certifications such as ISO 9001, ISO 27001, PCI DSS.
mplement disaster recovery and business continuity plans based on best practices and industry standards using solutions such as Commvault, Borg, Veeam etc.
Innovation and Improvement:
dentify opportunities for technological improvements and innovation with a focus on Microsoft / Open-Source solutions and build blueprints to transition from older technology leading to reduce TCO and enhanced systems experience.
romote the adoption of emerging technologies and open-source tools to enhance business / IT operations.
etup key IT processes and capture data touchpoints to evaluate IT Teams performance and OKRs. Build a culture of continuous improvement and service excellence.
rovide leadership to drive Infrastructure and Network Security maturity improvements across the organization, in line with the changing Threat Landscape, Regulatory and Compliance requirements etc.
ewire the current processes, practices and disciplines for IT Service Management using ITIL principles aligning IT services with the needs of the business
Experience:
t least 10-12 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure management and information security.
ust have proven experience leading and managing complex hybrid IT teams.
ust have proven experience in leading initiatives to transition workloads from current on-premises to hybrid cloud ecosystem.
ust have proven experience in implementing and managing IT Security, Business Continuity Plans, Disaster Recovery Frameworks and Security Audits.
ust have technical proficiency and hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies (e.g., Windows Server, Azure Services, Microsoft 365, SharePoint etc.) and Open-Source technologies (e.g., Ubuntu Linux, KVM, Docker, Kubernetes etc.).
xperience in managing datacenter operations, network systems and virtualization environments.
xperience with IT process optimization and implementing change management processes.
ny relevant industry certifications like CISSP, CISM, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Red Hat Certified, Cisco Certified Network Professional etc. will be added advantage.
xperience working in large publication company, management consulting company or Tier 1 startups will be added advantage.

We’re looking for a Director of Polymer Technology — a visionary technologist with the hands-on rigor of a scientist and the leadership instincts of a builder — to lead our material innovation program from lab discovery to industrial deployment.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Advanced Polymer R&D: Oversee the formulation, synthesis, and characterization of new materials derived from natural polymers, with a focus on mechanical strength, moisture resistance, and sealability.
- Drive Scale-Up and Tech Transfer: Translate lab-scale breakthroughs into scalable, commercially viable manufacturing processes. Establish process controls, documentation, and validation protocols.
- Integrate Chemistry and Engineering: Bridge bench chemistry with process engineering to ensure reproducibility, performance consistency, and manufacturability.
- Guide and Mentor a High-Performing Team: Lead a diverse team of scientists, chemists, and PhDs across material science, biopolymers, and packaging. Build an innovation culture grounded in rigor, curiosity, and shared purpose.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with design, sustainability, and business teams to align R&D direction with product and market goals.
- Own External Collaborations: Liaise with research institutions, technical partners, and manufacturing collaborators to accelerate development timelines.
- Establish Global Standards: Build a materials roadmap that positions Zerocircle at the forefront of bio-based technology, with clear technical benchmarks for performance, circularity, and compliance.
Who You Are
- Scientist to Builder: You began your journey in the lab — with a strong grounding in polymer chemistry, formulation, and testing — and evolved into a leader who drives engineering execution and technology transfer.
- Natural Polymer Expert: Deep experience with polysaccharides, proteins, gums, or other natural polymer systems, including modification, blending, and film/coating development.
- Scale-Up Proven: Demonstrated success in taking material innovations from concept (0) to production (1), ideally in bio-based packaging, coatings, or advanced materials.
- Engineering-Fluent: Strong understanding of pilot-scale and industrial-scale process design, including drying, extrusion, coating, and film casting technologies.
- Leadership-Driven: At least 5 years leading technical teams — with a track record of motivating scientists to achieve at the intersection of purpose and performance.
- Mission-Led: You believe material innovation can drive environmental restoration and want your work to create measurable, global impact.
