Within the Finance Risk Management Group in GRC, Market & Liquidity Risk is the independent risk management team covering market and liquidity risk at American Express. The team's core responsibility is to design and execute risk measurement and controls across balance sheet management areas, including funding and liquidity risk and market risk.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Analyst- Liquidity Risk Oversight will be responsible for providing independent oversight and effective challenge of Liquidity Risk Management across American Express and American Express National Bank (AENB). The analyst will assume the responsibility of overseeing key areas in funding and liquidity risk management, leveraging analytical frameworks for independent risk assessment and providing effective challenge to funding and liquidity risk management processes.
This role will report to Manager, Funding and Liquidity Oversight, and will be responsible for developing and monitoring risk metrics, conducting in-depth reviews of funding and liquidity risk processes, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies, managing relationships with first line partners, and enhancing the firm's funding and liquidity risk program as American Express's balance sheet grows.
