About the Role
We are setting up our
distribution business from the ground up
and are looking for
hands-on Regional Sales Managers
to establish Amazon Wholesale India Pvt Ltd's distributor networks across India.
This is a
field-intensive role
(70–80% of time in the market) and will initially be an
individual contributor position
, requiring strong hustle, deep market connects, and sharp execution. As the business scales, the role will evolve into a
team leadership position
with wider responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Field Execution & Distributor Development
- Scout, evaluate, and onboard regional distributors in the assigned zone.
- Establish strong city- and town-level coverage through trade relationships.
Sales & Market Expansion
- Drive sales targets by ensuring both
primary and secondary sales
through distributors. - Expand numeric and weighted distribution across key cities.
Relationship Management
- Build strong, long-term partnerships using existing distributor connections.
- Support distributors with
business planning, inventory, and credit management
.
Execution Excellence
- Oversee distributor operations, including order fulfilment, compliance, and in-store visibility.
- Work with marketing and supply chain teams to align regional execution.
Market Insights
- Track competitor activities, pricing, and trade schemes to sharpen GTM strategy.
- Identify white spaces and recommend interventions for deeper penetration.

- Experience:
5–10 years in distribution sales with proven
regional exposure

Consumer Durables, Electronics, FMCG, or allied industries. - Network:
