Role Description

As a part of the CSR activity, Proman is looking to hire an Animal Care Supervisor for it's Rescued Stray Dogs facility, at their factory premises in Bidadi. This is a full time, on-site job.

The Animal Care Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and managing animal care operations, ensuring the health and well-being of animals, providing pet care, and performing animal work.

 Role and responsibility:

·   Oversee the daily operations at the shelter, ensuring the well-being of the animals, and managing shelter staff.

·   Staff Supervision and Training: Leading and training shelter staff and volunteers/interns in animal care, shelter policies, and safety procedures.

·   Animal Care Management: Ensuring proper feeding, grooming, and medical care for all animals.

·   Facility Maintenance: Maintenance of shelter facilities, including kennels and common areas which fall under the regular hygiene standards.

·   Adoption management: Managing adoption processes.

·   Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of animal intake, health status, and adoption outcomes.

·   Public Relations and Community Outreach: Engaging with the community to promote shelter services, educate the public on animal welfare, and coordinate adoption events.

·   Compliance and Safety: Ensuring adherence to local and state Government regulations related to animal care and shelter operations.

Qualifications

• Strong empathy and compassion towards animals (non-negotiable)
• Animal Care, Animal Health, and Pet Care skills
• Experience in Animal Work
• Laboratory Skills related to animal care
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic Education, with a preference for candidates holding a bachelor's degree in animal science or a related field.
• Previous supervisory experience in animal care is a plus.
• Physical requirements may include the ability to lift heavy animals and equipment, as well as the capacity to work in various environmental conditions

The Veterinary Sales Advisor will be aligned to Cargill’s Animal Health Care (AHC) business in Sriganganagar, Rajasthan and participate in face-to- face and remote selling to our new and existing customers, selling directly or indirectly through various sales channels. We seek a results-oriented professional who, with guidance, will help assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services and solutions.

Key Accountabilities

• Contribute to developing and delivering sales bids, presentations and proposals and participating in product demonstrations.
• Help identify and contact prospective customers, building relationships to generate future sales and repeat business.
• With basic knowledge of products, their characteristics and market, sell and stimulate demand for a series of products.
• Plan daily activities, including customer visits and quantitative and qualitative objectives to achieve.
• Follow market and competition evolution, passing information to senior staff.
• Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline.
• Years of experience: 1 – 3 years.
• At least 1 year of sales experience in the Animal Health/Agriculture sector in Rajasthan.
• Exposure to selling Animal Health products to veterinarians, dairy farmers and para veterinarians in Rajasthan.
• Should be open to extensive travelling within and outside the headquarters to remote/interior locations.
• Fluent in Hindi, English and the local language.

• Direct and lead sales personnel in supervised area.

• Supervise groups that divide sales performance into products or areas.

• Meet product volume and profit targets.

• Minimum 5 years of experience Dairy/PET health Sales with minimum 3 years of >100% sales performance.

Skills:

• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Fluent in Kannada, Hindi & English.

• Computer Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)

• CRM Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA in Sales and Marketing will be an added advantage.

• Leadership and Team Management: Ability to motivate, coach, and lead a sales team. Experience of managing a direct on roll team of at least 4 employees will be an added advantage.

• Sales and Negotiation Skills: Strong sales and negotiation skills to close deals and manage client relationships.

• Strategic Thinking and Business Acumen: Ability to develop and implement sales strategies and understand market dynamics.
