What you will do
- Providing personalized support to clients in accordance with their individual support plans
- Community Access 1:1 ratio
- Active nights and Sleep Over shifts Weekdays and Weekends
- Assisting with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management
- Support the team in facilitating community participation and social activities
- Supporting clients in developing life skills and promoting independence
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation
What you will bring
- Hold minimum Certificate 3 in Individual Support or Above
- A passion for safeguarding human rights and a deep personal connection to working in a purpose-driven organisation.
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and a ‘C’ class driver’s license, along with an up-to-date COVID vaccination certificate or a medical exemption.
- A Current First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate ( willingness to Obtain if not held or expired)
- Passport, Birth or Citizenship Certificate to validate Australian Work Rights
- Willingness to complete a National & International Police Check (Paid by Afford)
- Ability to Complete Pre-Employment Medical/Functional Assessment (Paid by Afford)
- Personal vehicle that can be used for work purposes (mileage will be reimbursed)
