Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Lotus Notes/Domino applications including forms, views, workflows, and agents.
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
• Customize and enhance existing Domino applications to meet evolving business needs.
• Develop scripts and automation using LotusScript, Formula Language, Java, and XPages.
• Integrate Domino applications with external systems and databases via APIs, REST, or SOAP.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and system issues.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, testers, and infrastructure teams.
• Prepare documentation, conduct code reviews, and provide user training and support.
• Participate in migration projects (Lotus Notes to Office 365, SharePoint, or other modern platforms).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4-8 years of experience in Lotus Notes/Domino development.
• Strong programming skills in LotusScript, Formula Language, Java, JavaScript, and XPages.
• Hands-on experience with Domino Designer and Notes Client.
• Understanding of Domino administration basics (ACLs, replication, security).
• Experience integrating Domino with third-party applications/databases.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge and experience of working with HCL Notes/Domino including form development, LotusScript, Formulas, and data management

• Guide and support offshore Domino web developers on large-scale implementations.

• Implement modern CI/CD practices in Domino development where applicable.

• Work across traditional on-premise and modern cloud Domino-based deployment models.

• Scope technical requirements for projects, leveraging existing technical resources and

opportunities for integration.

• Develop complex software code to support project and business timelines.

Special Considerations:

• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of the insurance lifecycle policy & claims is a plus.
