This role is crucial for optimizing oil and gas recovery operations, assessing reservoir potential, and managing drilling and production activities. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze reservoir data (porosity, permeability, pressure) to estimate hydrocarbon reserves and production potential.
- Develop and implement well completion strategies, including stimulation and artificial lift methods.
- Design and supervise drilling operations, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Monitor well performance, analyze production data, and recommend optimization techniques to maximize recovery.
- Conduct economic evaluations of exploration and production projects, preparing cost estimates and profitability analyses.
- Perform reservoir simulation studies to predict reservoir behavior and optimize development plans.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in petroleum engineering, with a focus on reservoir engineering, drilling engineering, or production engineering.
- Proven ability to analyze reservoir characteristics and develop production strategies.
- Experience with reservoir simulation software (e.g., Petrel, ECLIPSE, CMG) and wellbore modeling tools.
- Strong understanding of drilling fluids, well control, and completion techniques.
- Knowledge of production optimization methods, including artificial lift systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in technical report writing and presentation.
- Familiarity with relevant industry software and data analysis tools.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be willing to work on-site in Pune and potentially travel to field locations.
