Under light supervision, the candidate prepares basic studies for transportation projects in Middle East and USA. The candidate gathers, compiles and analyzes transportation related data. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Engineer must perform tasks related to transportation planning and engineering which include but not limited to the following:
Data Analysis & Operational Analysis
-Compile and analyze data - demographic, land use, traffic counts, travel speeds as required to reflect existing and future conditions
-Conduct capacity analysis for intersections and roadways using widely used software
-Write basic scripts in Excel or other programming languages for data analysis
Modeling
-Prepare, analyze relevant land use data for modeling work
-Conduct demand modeling tasks for traffic impact studies and corridor studies including network update, model assignment runs, model results extraction.
-Conduct traffic simulation tasks for basic to complex projects including network building or update, coding model parameters, performing simulation runs, simulation model results extraction.
Transportation Studies
-Develop engineering calculations, maps
-Identify and evaluate mitigation measures or project alternatives
-Prepare technical reports presenting traffic analysis, modeling, and simulation work.
Design Collaboration
-Collaborate closely with Highway Design and CAD teams in GRC on designs related traffic issues
Other

The right candidate will possess a strong program management background, has experience leading large projects, and has a well-rounded technical background in current technologies. As a Sr. Technical Program Manager, your responsibilities will include writing specifications, driving project schedules from design to release, stakeholder management and managing the production launch. Transportation Controllership is focused on providing program management leadership for a dynamic and rapidly growing Transportation business. You will require good project management skills, strategic thinking, relationship building, problem solving, and communication skills. A track record of on-time delivery of projects coupled with good in operate independently are the key to success of this role. Job Responsibilities include:
· Review and assess the current defect reduction framework including processes and procedures.
· Recommendations and E2E management of defect reduction cycle derived from assessment stage till execution.
· Communicate with stakeholders, leaders, users, and technical teams to collect requirements, evaluate and recommend alternatives, develop processes and tools and provide updates on intermittent milestones
· Identify, assess and resolve any bottlenecks proactively, escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs and propose corrective actions to keep the projects moving forward.
· Work with stakeholders across the transportation teams to uncover dependencies and create action plans around those dependencies
· Working with Accounting, Auditing, Finance and business to solve project requirements
· Create a "learn by doing" environment by engaging with business and technology to promote and encourage continued customer focus.
