Role Overview:
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on E-Commerce Head to lead the brand’s digital commerce journey across owned D2C platforms/Website. You will be responsible for scaling online revenue, improving digital brand visibility, and delivering a seamless omni-channel experience in line with the premium positioning of the brand. This is a high-impact leadership role that combines P&L ownership, digital transformation, and brand-driven growth in the evolving Indian jewellery e-commerce market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and scale the E-Commerce P&L (D2C website)
- Drive overall digital revenue, gross margins, CAC–LTV ratio, and customer retention metrics
- Oversee product cataloguing, inventory hygiene, pricing strategy
- Build and manage the brand’s D2C engine (UI/UX, platform performance, payment, delivery experience)
- Lead full-funnel performance marketing across Google, Meta, CRM, and influencer-led commerce
- Collaborate with design, merchandising, operations, and retail teams for cohesive planning
- Launch digital-first collections and explore personalization technologies
- Build dashboards and KPIs to drive data-led insights and ongoing optimization
- Hire and manage a small but high-performance e-commerce and digital growth team
Ideal Candidate Profile :
- 5+ years of experience in e-commerce, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role
- Strong exposure to luxury, lifestyle, jewellery, fashion, or premium consumer goods
- Demonstrated success in scaling D2C channels and building category-focused digital strategies
- Hands-on understanding of merchandising, customer lifecycle, analytics
- Ability to balance brand building and conversion-led thinking
- Proven experience managing agency partners, tech vendors, and cross-functional teams
- Strong aesthetic sensibility and brand empathy — essential for premium/luxury retail
- Experience with Shopify, Magento, or equivalent commerce platforms
- Comfortable working from the brand HQ (Surat) with periodic travel if required
