Our client is seeking an innovative and data-driven Head of E-commerce Merchandising & Strategy to lead their online retail operations, entirely remotely. This senior leadership role will be responsible for defining and executing the e-commerce strategy, driving online sales growth, and optimizing the customer journey across all digital platforms. You will oversee product merchandising, visual presentation, promotional campaigns, and inventory management to ensure a compelling and seamless online shopping experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in e-commerce, with extensive experience in merchandising, category management, digital marketing, and conversion rate optimization. You will lead the development and implementation of data-driven strategies to enhance customer engagement, increase average order value, and improve customer lifetime value. Responsibilities include analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and translating insights into actionable merchandising plans. You will also collaborate closely with marketing, technology, and customer service teams to ensure alignment and execute integrated campaigns. A strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, analytics tools, and SEO principles is essential. The ability to manage budgets, forecast sales, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) is critical. This role requires exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and project management skills, along with the ability to inspire and mentor a remote team. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus. A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in e-commerce merchandising and strategy is mandatory.
