About the role
We are looking for a highly skilled Web Analytics & Tracking Lead to join our data driven team. In this role, you will own the complete analytics and tracking infrastructure that powers how we understand, acquire, and convert our users. From building custom JavaScript events in GTM to extracting insights from GA4 and BigQuery, you'll design and implement tracking strategies that capture every meaningful interaction, configure GA4 properties that answer our toughest business questions, and build Power BI dashboards that turn user behavior into clear, actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead behavioral analysis across our digital properties (websites and app) to understand user journeys, segmentation, drop-off points, and conversion funnels.
- Design, implement, test, and manage a robust event-tracking strategy using Google Tag Manager (GTM) , ensuring accurate data capture for all key user interactions.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Google Analytics (GA4) , configuring properties, setting up custom events, creating audiences, and building advanced exploratory reports.
- Analyze funnel performance from acquisition to conversion and retention, identifying friction points and providing actionable recommendations to product and marketing teams.
- Create, maintain, and enhance interactive Power BI dashboards that visualize user behaviour, funnel metrics, A/B test results, and marketing KPIs.
- Take ownership of existing Power BI dashboards , enhancing and adapting them to new business questions and data sources.
- Develop and optimize DAX calculations to support complex behavioral and marketing analysis within Power BI.
- Write and optimize SQL queries (especially on BigQuery) to extract, transform, and blend GA4 data, app data, and other data sources.
- Craft compelling data narratives that transform complex behavioral data into actionable insights that lead to high quality traffic and conversion rate improvement .
Skills & Experience Required:
- Expert-level proficiency with Google Tag Manager (GTM) , including complex event creation using custom Javascript code, trigger configuration, and variable management.
