Your role will focus on leading design across key areas of Descrial’s lifecycle: activation, retention, and expansion. You’ll be the most senior IC designer driving these initiatives—leading complex system design, shaping experimentation strategies, and unlocking compounding user value across Descrial. Ensuring exceptional design craft within the organization by working closely with talented teams of Product Designers, Product Managers, Product Engineers, and Service Delivery, maintaining high standards of design excellence and precision.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead our strategic design competency for the lifecycle of Product interaction – activation, retention and renewal.
- Proactively identify and define high-level opportunities across the product portfolio, that have the potential to transform the user experience and business outcomes.
- Bring clarity, insight, and strategic focus to these challenges. Develop Users Journeys, approach backed by research and customer behavior
- Take ownership of strategic, design-led projects, driving them from concept to delivery
- Develop and implement innovative design patterns and systems that are durable, repeatable, and scalable.
- Liaise with the Product team to understand user needs, psychology & product USPs and use it to design smooth in-app user experiences
- Develop style standards on typography and graphic design
- Have an iterative mindset- no design is perfect on the first attempt.
- Be opinionated and back those opinions with strong logic.
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Prerequisites
- Knowledge of UX design best practices, including user interface ergonomics, knowledge of responsive design, data protection and security principles in Tech product environment
- Expert level knowledge of human interaction design.
- Balanced mindset when it comes to functional and aesthetically pleasing designs.
- Experience with design and graphical tools such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or similar
