As a Software Engineer Digital Commerce , you will play a key role in developing a scalable, modular, and headless e-commerce platform using cutting-edge technologies like commerce tools, React, and Next.js.     Design and develop next-generation digital commerce solutions

    As a Software Engineer Digital Commerce, you will be responsible for building and enhancing a modern B2B e-commerce platform tailored to industrial customers. You will work with a microservices architecture and headless commerce technologies to ensure flexibility, scalability, and performance. Your work will directly impact how our customers experience our digital services.

    Your responsibility will be to:

  • Drive the development of new features and improvements for our digital commerce platform
  • Lead frontend development using React and Next.js, ensuring modular and maintainable code
  • Design and implement backend services and APIs using Node.js and Java
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs
  • Ensure seamless integration of third-party services and maintain platform reliability
  • You will report to the Director Digital Commerce, and collaborate with internal and external developers, and business stakeholders. The position is based in Esposende with hybrid work flexibility (4/1) and limited travel.

    Collaborative and adaptable engineer with a growth mindset

    We are looking for a proactive and solution-oriented team player who thrives in dynamic environments. You are passionate about building high-quality digital products and enjoy working collaboratively across disciplines. Your ability to communicate clearly and mentor others will be key to your success in this role.

    You also have:

  • 1 – 2 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on React and Next.js
  • Proven backend development experience with Node.js and Java
  • Hands-on experience with microservices and headless commerce platforms
  • Familiarity with integration platforms like Boomi is a plus
  • Knowledge of CI/CD workflows, Docker, and cloud infrastructure (preferably Azure)
