Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and empathetic Student Advisor to guide and support students through the process of studying abroad. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of international education systems, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for helping students achieve their academic and career goals overseas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gain cross-functional exposure to various departments involved in international student recruitment.
- Handle student inquiries and provide professional guidance regarding admissions and visa processes.
- Communicate effectively with prospective students to build understanding and trust throughout the application cycle.
- Adhere strictly to the company’s Standard Operating Procedures.
- Follow up regularly with students, ensuring they are updated on every stage of the process.
- Maintain documentation and record communications via emails and internal systems (e.g., CRM).
- Educate students on compliance requirements and assist with document preparation.
- Maintain office protocols, confidentiality, and decorum at all times.
- Report progress and issues promptly to the Team Leader or Manager.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree (Any field)
- 1–3 years of experience in academic advising, international education, or a related role
- Proven experience of successfully managing at least one major intake
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Familiarity with global education systems (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Europe, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
