**Job Description**
**During the OTR (Order to Receipt) Phase**
+ Overall Supervision of civil and installation works.
+ Acting as the main point of contact for the operational aspects of all site subcontracts
+ Serving as the primary contact for all construction-related issues for the customer
+ Ensuring implementation of GEV's EHS guidelines and the customer's EHS requirements into the project-specific EHS procedure, supported by the EHS department.
+ Implementation of all safety procedures and detection of near-miss incidents.
+ Implementation of the Zero Deviation Plan and weekly safety inspection with all subcontractor agencies.
+ Responsible for planning C&C (Construction & Commissioning) activities within the overall project schedule and implementing the construction management system to ensure on-time delivery.
+ Preparing staffing plans, mobilizing site teams, and tracking actuals against plan.
+ Supporting project management in key client meetings.
+ Reporting of any unsafe practice to Site Manager & Safety Officer.
+ Review of installation drawings and reporting of any deviation to Site Manager.
+ Preparing and publishing progress reporting on daily basis and dashboards to Project / Construction Manager.
+ Implementation of Quality procedure & method statement for all installation activities.
+ Ensuring records of all incoming equipment & materials at site on delivery and reporting of any deviation/damage to the Construction / Project Manager.
+ Recording of all equipment/materials issued to the sub-contractor and implementation of Monitoring of the delivery of equipment's
+ Monitoring and control of smooth site running establishment cost.
+ Monitoring & Control of site housekeeping, cleaning & maintaining healthy environment.
+ Monitoring & Control for safety & security of site materials.
+ Support Site Engineer / T & C team in developing of red markup drawings modification as per site requirement for As Built Drawings and punch list clearances.
+ Develop a good relationship with client and reporting of any client concerned requirements to the Construction / Project Manager.
+ Maintain discipline, punctuality and team spirit with all different agencies and all functional members of the project team.
**Personnel Management**
+ Lead and manage construction site teams to ensure performance standards, project goals, guidelines, and procedures are met.
+ Provide feedback on know-how and skills to hierarchical superiors for staff deployed at the construction sites.
**Health and Safety**
+ Demonstrate EHS leadership and ensure the STOP-WORK POLICY is enforced within the team.
+ Ensure application of GE GRID EHS policies and procedures in all construction site activities.
+ Regularly communicate policies and processes with all site personnel (both GEV and non-GE GEV staff) and ensure full compliance on-site.
+ Take responsibility for rewarding and promoting proactive actions related to health, safety, and environmental protection in the workplace.
+ Participate in EHS Gemba Walks and lead EHS improvement initiatives on one's own construction sites.
+ Identify and assess EHS risks and implement practical mitigation measures.
+ Lead by example through active observation of site conditions and behaviors, providing immediate constructive feedback, and celebrating safety behaviors and achievements.
+ Actively promote hazard and near-miss reporting within teams.
+ Actively participate in defining corrective measures when work is deemed unsafe or when an uncontrolled risk is identified.
+ Actively contribute to behavioral safety initiatives.

+ Adhere to quality procedures, work instructions, and processes.
+ Report or correct non-conformities and process issues promptly.
+ Implement site procedures to ensure construction activities meet customer satisfaction and comply with GE standards.
+ Ensure collection of key information on-site for the purpose of preparing Lessons Learned for future projects.
+ Initiate and participate in improvement actions for construction processes, tools, and documentation.
**Skills / Qualifications**
+ A relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering with approximately 5 years of professional experience preferably in HVDC projects with overall experience of 8-10 Years.
+ Basic knowledge of high-voltage DC construction and commissioning works.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to lead work teams in challenging situations.
