About the roles:

Key responsibilities:
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings
- Wire and terminate switchboards and control panels to specification
- Assemble electrical enclosures, mounting components, and installing hardware
- Perform continuity testing, insulation resistance testing, and fault finding
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with electrical regulations
Qualifications/experience required:
- Experience building, modifying, and wiring switchboards, including control panels and MCCs
- Knowledge of control wiring, PLCs, VSDs, and basic instrumentation
- Proficient in reading and working from electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Current QLD Electrical Licence and up-to-date CPR/LVR certification (essential)
- A proactive and reliable work ethic with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

About the Role
We are seeking experienced and safety-focused Offshore Electricians to join our client’s team on upcoming oil & gas projects. You’ll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and operational reliability in a challenging offshore environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and fault-finding on a range of electrical assets.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to minimise downtime.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, OHS regulations, and offshore safety protocols.
- Accurately complete work orders, logs, and maintenance reports.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Skills & Experience
- Australian Electrical Trade Certificate and current Electrical Licence.
- Previous offshore oil & gas or marine experience essential.
- Valid BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS.
- Valid OGUK/Offshore Medical.
- Hazardous Area EEHA Certificate (preferred).
- High Voltage Switching ticket (advantageous).
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
