It presently caters to various Brands/Providers and has several Partners. This portfolio will further expand over the next 18 months across financial services (loans and insurance products). The online comparison market is extremely crowded in Australia, with most comparators providing a light-touch directory solution. CIMET saw this as an opportunity and developed a fully integrated online comparison and signup platform in 2017.
Today, CIMET has around 220 resources across Australia, India, and the Philippines, and has grown to a topline of $25 million in FY2025. We have plans to list CIMET by 2030 and grow the company to a $1 bn enterprise.

Overview of Job Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Email Marketing & CRM Executive to manage end-to-end email campaigns, maintain our CRM databases, and ensure seamless marketing automation. The ideal candidate will combine strong communication and campaign management skills with a basic understanding of HTML and data segmentation.
You'll play a key role in delivering engaging and compliant customer communications that support our lead nurturing, remarketing, and retention strategies across multiple verticals — including Energy, Internet, Solar, and Financial Services.
Key Responsibilities
Email Marketing
- Plan, build, and execute B2C and B2B email campaigns (EDMs, newsletters, retargeting, and offer-based communications).
- Manage email templates, segmentation, and automation workflows within the company CRM.
- Collaborate with the design and content teams to develop visually engaging and compliant creatives.
- Optimise subject lines, CTAs, and send times for maximum open and click-through rates.
- Conduct A/B testing on campaign elements and report on performance metrics (CTR, conversions, unsubscribe rates, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with SPAM Act 2003, Privacy Act 1988, and company guidelines in all communications.
CRM Management
- Maintain and update customer databases, ensuring data accuracy, segmentation, and hygiene.
- Set up automation and triggers for retargeting, drop-off journeys, and lead nurturing flows.
- Work closely with Sales, Product, and Operations teams to ensure CRM data aligns with campaign and reporting needs.
- Generate and share weekly CRM analytics and performance reports.
Technical & HTML Support
- Use basic HTML/CSS to edit or troubleshoot email templates and landing pages.
- Assist with API integrations or tagging (where required) to ensure campaign tracking and data flow accuracy.
- Collaborate with IT or DevOps for CRM-related feature updates or issue resolution.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in email marketing and CRM management.
- Experience using platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Mailchimp, or ActiveCampaign.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS (enough to edit templates or troubleshoot errors).
- Strong understanding of email analytics and deliverability best practices.
- Familiarity with marketing automation, segmentation, and lead lifecycle management.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational, and project management skills.
- Understanding of Australian marketing compliance standards (SPAM Act, Privacy Act, ACCC).
Preferred (Good to Have)
- Exposure to energy, internet, or comparison industries.
- Experience in customer journey automation and API-based triggers.
- Basic knowledge of Google Analytics / GA4 and UTM tagging.
