Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our Marketing Automation efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing end-to-end automation campaigns across multiple channels, including SMS, email, WhatsApp, web push notifications, and more. This role involves leveraging automation platforms to enhance customer engagement, reduce drop-offs, and deliver personalized experiences in real-time, as well as for bulk and ad-hoc campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing automation strategy to drive customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and reactivation.
- Plan and implement campaigns for real-time interactions, drop-off recovery, bulk messaging, and ad-hoc communication.
Platform Management:
- Oversee the setup and maintenance of marketing automation platforms and tools.
- Ensure seamless integration with CRM systems, analytics tools, and other relevant platforms.
Execution & Optimization:
- Build, test, and deploy automated campaigns for channels such as SMS, email, WhatsApp, and web push notifications.
- Optimize workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring minimal errors and downtime.
- Leverage personalization and segmentation to deliver targeted messaging.
Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor campaign performance metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROI.
- Utilize analytics tools to generate insights and continuously improve campaign effectiveness.
- Report on performance to key stakeholders, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
Collaboration & Leadership:
- Partner with content, design, and product teams to create cohesive and impactful campaigns.
- Train and mentor team members to build internal expertise in marketing automation.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in marketing automation and incorporate them into the strategy.
Customer Experience Enhancement:
- Design and implement real-time campaigns triggered by customer behavior and lifecycle stages.
- Develop strategies to reduce drop-offs and improve customer retention using automated communication workflows.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing automation, with hands-on expertise in managing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Proficiency in marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of customer segmentation, journey mapping, and campaign personalization.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Familiarity with scripting and basic HTML/CSS for email and web campaign customization is a plus.

**Position Summary:**
In essence, we are looking for a Marketing Automation Specialist who is a tech-savvy marketer who leverages automation to improve marketing efficiency, personalize customer experiences, and drive business growth.
As a Marketing Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for executing and optimizing marketing campaigns using Adobe Marketo Engage (Previously known as Marketo). You will be responsible for building and managing email campaigns, landing pages, forms and workflows that drive engagement. You will collaborate closely with global and regional marketing teams to deliver high-impact campaigns and ensure seamless customer experiences to help resolve technical issues. This role will also require an understanding of designing HTML/CSS to enable customization of email and landing page assets.
**Key responsibilities:**
+ Design, build, and deploy email campaigns, landing pages, and forms using Marketo, supporting both single-language and globally translated initiatives.
+ Create and execute email campaigns based on directions from the Global and Regional Marketing team.
+ Interpret performance of emails and other Marketo tactics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
+ Deep understanding of different types of email campaigns - Trigger/Nurture/Engagement programs
+ Build and optimize scalable engagement programs and automation workflows that drive lead nurturing, customer retention, and campaign efficiency.
+ Engage and support design best practices for email and web page tactics including improvements.
+ Provide Tier 1 & Tier 2 troubleshooting support for Marketo using internal ticketing systems

**Education, Background, and Skill Requirements**
+ Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Communications, or related field.
+ 5+ years of hands-on experience in Marketing Automation, preferably with Marketo (Marketo Certified is a plus). Experience with Pardot, Eloqua, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud can be considered.
+ Experience with email marketing, lead nurturing, and campaign performance analysis.
+ Familiarity with CMS platforms such as AEM, Drupal, or WordPress.
+ Good knowledge of HTML/CSS for email and landing page customization.
+ 3+ year experience in customer service or Tier II support
+ 3+ year experience in project management
+ Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
+ Positive, open-minded, and proactive. Work well independently as well as in teams.
+ Able to establish and maintain strong working relationships with a wide range of internal customers and external vendors
+ Exceptional organizational and Project Management skills: ability to set priorities and adapt as priorities shift, balancing multiple assignments.
