KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Co-ordinate and Reporting to Inclusive Education cell (IEC) Mumbai for action plan for the school
- Using appropriate system tools to identify student issues , needs & challenges
- Designing IEPs for students with learning lags
- Addressing the emotional & social needs of all the students
- Short-term counseling for students
- Counseling parents & teachers
- Conducting sessions and workshop with Children, Parents and Teachers.
- Create and maintain database of counseling cases.
- Deliver all the projects initiated by the HO team
- Take initiatives to improve the overall well being of the students
- Assist the principal with the new admissions for children with special needs
- Organise Mental Wellness events for all at the school level
Skills Required
- Desire & ability to work with the student at a specific age level .
- Ability to organize tasks and manage time to meet many and varied deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Empathy and sensitivity when dealing with clients and associated stake holders.
- familiarity with student assessment tools, especially in interpreting standardized test results.
- Knowledge of educational software.
Education and Work Experience
- Bachelors degree/ Post graduation degree In Psychology.
- 1-2 yrs. Experience of working as psychological counselor
