+ Manages sharing of power delivered by all heterogeneous sources (fossil and/or renewable) between all equipment, in accordance with their respective acceptance/rejection capabilities
+ Designs, develops, and maintains sophisticated systems that monitor and control the reliability and efficiency of power grids
+ Configuring EMS software, such as Hitachi Network Manager, designing HMI displays, developing system data models, and conducting extensive testing (PreFAT, FAT, SAT)
+ Experience with SCADA configuration, tuning, and testing.
+ Standards & Compliance: IEEE, NESC, safety regulations, NERC standards.
+ Coordinates engineering effort in assigned areas between specialty and other engineering groups or disciplines, with the client, suppliers, and contractors and between other groups.
+ Understanding engineering planning and control methods including computerized methods.
+ Understanding of the roles played by other departments on projects including basic construction practices and the economics involved.
+ Understanding of industry or regulatory codes and standards and design criteria pertinent to the engineering discipline.
+ Skill in oral and written communication and writing technical reports.
