Compare actual performance against benchmarks and identify areas for improvement.
**Develop and maintain dashboards** for real-time monitoring and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs).
**Project Support:**
Assist in the **execution of improvement projects** for renewable energy assets, including energy efficiency initiatives and system upgrades.
Coordinate with site-level teams and vendors for maintenance, troubleshooting, and other operational needs.

Our client, a prominent player in the renewable energy sector, is seeking a skilled Renewable Energy Engineer to join their innovative team in **Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, IN**. This role involves a hybrid work arrangement, combining office-based collaboration with remote flexibility. The Renewable Energy Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing renewable energy systems, focusing on solar and wind power technologies. Your primary duties will include conducting feasibility studies, performing energy audits, and developing technical specifications for new projects.

You will play a key role in the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept and design through to installation, commissioning, and performance monitoring. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering with specialized knowledge in renewable energy systems. Proven experience with CAD software, energy modeling tools, and relevant industry standards is essential. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills are required. You should be capable of working effectively within a team and independently, contributing to the company's mission of advancing sustainable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and engineer renewable energy systems, including solar PV and wind turbines.
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for new energy projects.
  • Perform energy modeling and simulation to optimize system performance.
  • Develop technical documentation, including P&IDs, electrical schematics, and equipment specifications.
  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of renewable energy systems.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with project managers, clients, and suppliers to ensure project success.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with a specialization in renewable energy.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the design and implementation of renewable energy projects.
  • Proficiency in energy simulation software (e.g., PVSyst, Homer Energy) and CAD tools.
  • Strong understanding of solar PV and wind turbine technologies.
  • Knowledge of power electronics, grid integration, and energy storage systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
