Experience: Having min 5+ years’ experience in Risk Management team of prominent Broker, having handled large volume of HNI clients


Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Monitoring & mitigation of the clients Risk
  • Communication and co-ordination between various stakeholders to highlight the risk & take action wherever possible
  • Must be aware of the functioning of Trading platform, exchange penalty rules and limit setting criteria. Preferable having 6 to 7 years working experience on trading platforms like Omnesys/Greek/ODIN/ Kambala in Risk Management team of prominent commodity broker
  • Should be aware of CTCL – creation and user upload formalities of Exchange
  • Should possess knowledge on process of Delivery Marking on MCX and NCDEX
  • Should possess knowhow on blocking / disallowing trades during Tender period
  • Should have hands on handling Corporate / Direct / Admin Terminals incld MCS and MTS terminals of MCX
  • Should possess knowledge of process for Code / Trade Modification process in MCX and NCDEX
  • Should be capable of framing internal risk policies as per changes mandated by regulator from time to time.
  • Review of risk management policies including the quantification of our risk appetite through specific risk limits
  • Communication with various teams like audit/exchange and should be capable of sorting queries raised from time to time.


Requirements:


  • Should be ready to work in shifts
  • Prepare periodic analysis for reporting to senior authorities
  • Process improvement & Automation
  • Should have know how on position square-off process in case of contingencies where in TWS/Admins are down
  • Should reasonably be aware of how TWS operates and have functional knowledge on Limit Setting Branch wise/ CTCL wise/ Scrip Wise.
  • Should be aware of process of setting Single Order Qty/Value Limit of Users, password reset etc.
  • Should be fully aware of margining system followed by Exchange for Marginable and Non-Marginable clients
  • Should possess knowledge of margin reporting process and rules related to levy of SPAN, Exposure, Additional Margin and Peak Margin levied by Exchange
  • Should be aware of Warehousing rules and regulation


Qualification:


Graduate/Post Graduate in any discipline – preference will be given to MBA (Finance)/CFA/CA

Role overview:

Be part of Terminal Risk team expected to perform duties like Limits setting at dealer and client Level,rules setting as per clients/dealer requirements, monitoring clients position and blocking unblocking of ban scrips, symbols under tender period, CTCL creation/modification and other relevant activities for retail and Institutional clients.
