Essential Job Duties:

• Prepares or assists in preparation of conceptual studies, designs, reports or proposals, design criteria, specifications, budget and schedules for projects of varying complexity.
• Perform the finite element modeling and structural analysis of various steel and concrete structures.
• Reviews bid analyses and makes recommendation.
• Prepares and/or assists in the preparation of cost estimates, quantity take-offs and staffing requirements for proposals, forecasts and change orders.
• Reviews and checks work of junior team members and provides input for their performance evaluation.

Job Knowledge:

• Possesses a broad understanding of the major design engineering deliverables.
• Plans, conducts and coordinates detailed phases of engineering work.
• Performs work that involves conventional engineering practice but may include complex features such as resolving conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials and/or difficult coordination requirements.
• Performs work using Standard Application Programs and appropriate computer aided design and computer aided engineering (CAD and CAE) tools.
• Coordinates engineering effort in assigned areas between specialty and other engineering groups or disciplines, with the client, suppliers, and contractors and between other groups.
• Understanding of engineering planning and control methods including computerized methods.
• Understanding of the roles played by other disciplines like Plant Layout and Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural, Geotech and Construction etc.
• Understanding of industry or regulatory codes and standards and design criteria pertinent to the engineering discipline.
• Experience in leading a team of designers in EPC and/or big FEED projects.
• Capable of planning, assigning, guiding and monitoring work of the team members
• Capable of assuring quality of design and associated deliverables

Experience in design of Flat slabs, Cheese slabs and dynamic analysis of structures shall be an added advantage.

• Maintain and Upgrade training equipment and course materials regularly

• Plan new courses or customized courses to suit to varying needs of customers along with customized course material.

• Review customer feedback and take appropriate actions to improve customer satisfaction

• Maintain and revise website as and when there is a update for customers

• Performs any other duties as assigned by the HOD-Training or Supervisor.

• Responsible for developing and maintaining standards, meeting prescribed timelines, developing and meeting budgetary objectives, continuous improvement of department operations, developing strategic plans to meet department goals. Profile expectation –

• Diploma / BE in Mechatronics /Electronics / Electrical engineering with good academic track record.

• Good Presentation and Communication abilities

• 4 & above years of experience in areas of Servicing / Manufacture / Maintenance of CNC machines, Operation / Maintenance Robots

• Experience in Training/ Teaching is added advantage • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to deliver to set deadlines.

• Proficient in MS Office applications.

• Strong interpersonal, report writing and statistical analysis skills. • Flair to travel, meet creative people in the engineering world.

Job requirements

• Should have experience in executing maintenance activities in Caster, Tunnel Furnace, Rolling mill.
• Good knowledge of Electrical Power & Control system.
• Hands on experience of Siemens make drives viz. S120, G120 & ABB VFD like ACS 580, 800, 850
• Good in trouble shooting and break down analysis skills in electrical systems of HT & LT systems, HVAC system.
• Offer technical expertise to maintenance people like supervisor, foreman, fitters and technicians.
• Expertise in organizing, planning & coordination of day-to-day maintenance activities & Handling shift activities.
• Strategize on maintenance, work instruction and methods.
• Create plant preventative maintenance procedures
• Plan routine maintenance of plant equipment and machinery.
• Schedule and obtain project material and manpower.
• Check work-in-progress and during completion to meet specifications.
• Documentation and preparation of daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
• Responsible for spare management for machines to reduce breakdown time
• Complete know how of Safety systems & should be familiar with safety procedures while executing electrical work
• Good in Coordination and Communication, keeping good relationship with Team members and Client
• Should be familiar with Report preparation, PPT & Excel.

Qualification Requirements

• You should have minimum 5 years experience preferably in Caster, Tunnel Furnace, Rolling mill with bachelors degree in Electrical/ Electronic engineering or Diploma in electrical with 6-8 years of experience .
• Experience in maintenance & handling shift activities of electrical systems of Caster, Tunnel Furnace, Rolling mill
• Shall be able to join within One month from the date of Offer.
• Shall have the Supervisory license for HT/LT systems
