Key Responsibilities

1. Process & Manufacturing Engineering

• Develop, evaluate, and optimize manufacturing processes for fabrication, tubular components, and paint shop operations .
• Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective/preventive actions to improve efficiency and product quality.
• Lead Low-Cost Automation (LCA) and Kaizen projects to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
• Prepare and validate process documentation including SOPs, process flow diagrams, and control plans.

2. Fabrication & Welding Operations

• Oversee fabrication processes involving TIG & MIG welding , ensuring adherence to design and quality standards.
• Manage production of tubular and sheet metal parts , ensuring accuracy of fixtures, jigs, and weld assemblies.
• Support Tool Engineering in developing and maintaining production tooling for consistent quality output.

3. Paint Shop & Surface Coating

• Manage liquid paint and powder coating operations , including pretreatment, phosphating, and curing processes.
• Establish and control paint process parameters to ensure consistent coating thickness, finish, and adhesion.
• Implement paint material control, minimize wastage, and ensure environment, health, and safety (EHS) compliance.

4. Quality & System Implementation

• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of DFMEA, FMEA, APQP, and PPAP for process and product validation.
• Collaborate with quality and design teams for first-time-right production , ensuring compliance to ISO / IATF 16949 standards.
• Drive root cause analysis and implement continuous improvement plans based on quality feedback.

5. Lean Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering

• Apply Lean Manufacturing tools such as VSM (Value Stream Mapping) , Line Balancing , DILO (Day In the Life Of) , and TOC (Theory of Constraints) to streamline processes.
• Conduct facility layout planning, capacity analysis , and workforce optimization for improved operational flow.
• Manage production services including routings, cell manufacturing, material handling, and workflow management.

Position Highlights:

Process Engineer Leader with extensive knowledge and experience in Oil & Gas, Engineering, Petrochemical, and Refinery plants . The candidate should demonstrate proven expertise in executing projects as a Unit Lead or Area Lead across various project phases and services, including Basic Engineering, Conceptual Design, FEED, PMT, and PMC .

Possesses strong technical knowledge in Process and Project Engineering , covering all stages of the Oil & Gas sector, from Concept and FEED to Detailed Design for both Greenfield and Brownfield projects in Onshore and Offshore environments .

Hands-on expertise with industry-standard simulation tools such as HYSYS, FLARENET, OLGA, and ASPEN .

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and evaluate existing processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement in safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and implement process optimization strategies to maximize production output while minimizing energy consumption and environmental impact.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to evaluate the viability and safety of proposed process modifications or new installations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, engineer, and implement process improvements, including equipment upgrades, procedural changes, and automation solutions.
• Monitor and analyze process data, operational parameters, and performance indicators to identify deviations, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct process simulations and modeling to optimize operating conditions and predict the performance of new processes.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including process flow diagrams, operating procedures, and equipment specifications.
• Provide technical support and guidance to operations and maintenance teams to ensure proper execution of process-related activities.
• Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements related to oil and gas production processes.
• Participate in safety audits, incident investigations, and compliance assessments to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory guidelines.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Process Engineer in the oil and gas industry, preferably in upstream or downstream operations.
• Strong knowledge of process engineering principles, including process design, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, UniSim, PRO/II) and engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB) is advantageous. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders

Responsibilities :-

• Manage overall Mobile Manufacturing process readiness and mange Process equipment and Fixtures , Risk study of capacity , Line balancing and identifying process bottleneck
• Maintain the declared process and equipment specification by doing frequent line audit. Drive EMS partner to close audit action items.
• Review and approve NPI Equipment specification and SOP
• To optimize process cycle time and ensure line capacity based on volume forecast.

14. Fully responsible for designing jigs & fixture for backend assembly

• Assisting senior engineers in the design and development of new chemical processes and equipment.
• Conducting process simulations and calculations to analyze performance and identify improvements.
• Participating in process hazard analysis (PHA) studies and implementing safety recommendations.
• Supporting the commissioning and startup of new equipment and production lines.
• Monitoring plant operations, identifying deviations, and assisting in troubleshooting process issues.
• Gathering and analyzing operational data to assess process efficiency and product quality.
• Assisting in the preparation of process documentation, including P&IDs, equipment specifications, and operating procedures.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and quality control.

The ideal candidate would be a skilled chemical engineering professional with experience in design engineering, FEED, basic and detailed engineering, procurement and sourcing, cost estimation, process safety management, plant commissioning and start-up.

Work Experience: 10-20 years

Technical Skills

• Ability to lead FEED and detailed engineering for commercial equipment, integrate modular skids and ensure operability.
• Process design and engineering: Ideation, planning, preparation, review, and finalisation of basic and detailed engineering across process, civil structural and architecture, electrical, mechanical and piping, instrumentation and control, packaging, HVAC, fire protection and balance of systems.
• Experience with procurement, vendor engagement, technical bid analysis and negotiation for the fabrication of custom-built engineering equipment (custom furnaces, heat exchangers, pumps, reactors, packed beds, physical separation processes), preparation of execution phase contracts.
• Plant erection, commissioning, design and analysis of experiments, activity scheduling, human resources allocation, plant troubleshooting, and optimisations.
• Process modeling and simulation, prior experience with modeling high-temperature reactors and fractionation columns preferred (MATLAB, Aspen Plus, ChemCAD, etc.).
• The ability to perform a thorough literature review, present findings concisely, and author original scientific documents.
• Ability to review and improve documented protocols, such as HAZOP, Cause and Effect Diagrams, QA/QC, SOPs, MSDS, etc.
• Knowledge of Industrial Instrumentation (DCS, PLC, Statistical Process Control, etc.)
• An ability for contextual analysis, strategic decision-making, Systems Thinking, and ensuring rollouts to committed business plans.
