Technical Skills

• Frontend Strategy: Strategic understanding of modern UI frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Vue.js, Blazor)

• Data Architecture: Strategic knowledge of SQL, NoSQL and data architecture decisions

**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Working with OptumBank on key software deliverables

**Required Qualifications:**
+ Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
+ Technologies: .NET, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, ADO.NET, C#, LINQ
+ Frameworks: .NET Framework, .NET Core
+ Database: SQL Server and solid T-SQL skills
+ Web Services: RESTful API Services, SOAP
+ Messaging: Azure Service Bus, Kafka
+ Source Control: Solid understanding of distributed source control management systems like Git
+ Design & Architecture: Solid understanding of Event-Driven Design, microservices development, CI/CD, and DevOps
+ Cloud Computing: Solid understanding of API Development and cloud computing
+ Front-End Technologies: Experience with React, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS, DOM, Node.js
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Knowledge of Kubernetes, Azure, AWS
+ Experience with Docker
+ Experience with Observatility tools like Splunk and Dynatrace
+ Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks and libraries such as Angular or Vue.js
+ Experience in Financial domain or with Healthcare systems

About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Engineering Lead to guide a team of Quality Test Engineers in delivering high-quality software solutions. This role involves leading testing efforts, collaborating across teams, and driving automation and continuous improvement in our quality assurance processes. Responsibilities:
+ Lead and mentor a team of Quality Test Engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
+ Understand product requirements and translate them into effective test plans and test cases.
+ Perform manual and automated testing for both user interfaces (UI) and application programming interfaces (API).
+ Develop and maintain automated test scripts using programming languages such as Java or Python.
+ Write and optimize SQL queries for data validation and testing.
+ Work with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins) to integrate testing into the software delivery pipeline.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Developers, Product Owners, and Analysts to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
+ Provide clear and constructive feedback to development teams to improve product quality.
+ Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to a culture of learning and innovation.
Requirements:
+ Approximately 10 years of experience in software testing (flexible based on relevant experience).
+ Proficiency in Java and experience with test automation tools such as Playwright and Selenium.
+ Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks like Cucumber.
+ Familiarity with databases and writing SQL queries.
+ Experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
+ Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
