A minimum of 6 years of experience in mine safety, environmental compliance, or a related role is required. Strong knowledge of mining operations, safety regulations (e.g., MSHA standards if applicable), and environmental laws is essential. Proven experience in developing and implementing safety management systems is necessary. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are paramount, especially for effectively communicating remotely. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools is required. The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fully remote setting is crucial. Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar are highly desirable.
