- Stay updated on changes in EHS legislation and best practices, ensuring continuous compliance.
- Advise management on EHS matters and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Coordinate emergency response planning and preparedness activities.
- Audit EHS programs for effectiveness and compliance.
- Manage the organization's chemical inventory and safety data sheets (SDS).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS management, preferably in a similar industry.
- In-depth knowledge of national and international EHS regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
- Proven experience in conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and developing corrective actions.
- Excellent communication, training, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in EHS management software and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
- Certification such as Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) is highly desirable.
- Experience in developing and implementing emergency preparedness plans.
